An assembly imported into Composer with very jagged curves, especially in technical illustration. anyone know if there is a quality adjustment? The model in solidworks already had a rather execrable curve quality but in CAD it's less annoying than in rendering. Think that the squated curves are imported from SW or serialated under composer?
I actually tested these options telling myself that it must be that but anti-aliasing is more like anti-aliasing and acts at the pixel level, not the overall appearance of the curve of a model. It allows you to blur the pixels slightly so that a line of is not broken by the pixels. I need to smooth the curve but no longer to the scale of the whole curve which is broken into 5, 6 parts.
I don't have access to compose right now. Maybe on Friday.
To see if the appearance depends on the quality of your soliworks assembly:
Questioning your assembly in good quality in Solidworks
Open under Composer
This could be the beginning of a test .
Do you have a composer file to share?
Depending on our assemblies, we often work in a quality database but we save them in the database in a higher quality to have a better appearance in our viewer.
