Does anyone have an example of weld seam properties? SW

Hello

As a teacher, I am currently preparing exercises for my trainees on welding.

I like my exercises to reflect the industrial reality as much as possible.

Would anyone have the use of weld bead properties (see attached image) and would like to show me a simple example filled in?

Thanks in advance

Hi, for the stainless steel TIG with a 1mm wire Ø:

Welding mass per mm: 0.01 g/mm

Welding Cost Per mm: 0.002

Welding time per mm: ---

Number of Passes: 1

I don't caclul the times, my weld seams are not long enough to have anything reasonable!

About 1 meter per hour for stainless steel tig welding. (preparation, soldering, passivation, cleaning) on the basis of David BE3

Yes, we must not be far from the meter per hour but depending on the complexity of the boiler piece it varies from simple to quintuple !! You have to make an average of the first pieces to come up with an overall figure that reflects what the workshop produces during the year!
