Hello
Following some advice, I opted to use the "normal design" mode in CATIA. By the way, for your information, I had already posted a topic about it: http://www.lynkoa.com/forum/catia/changement-doption-conception-hybride-vers-conception-normale?page=0#answer-697423
On the other hand, I realize that I still don't fully understand what is hidden behind a "normal body" and "a hybrid body".
What I had retained was that a "normal body" unlike a "hybrid body" could only contain volume operations. Thus, if a "normal" design is used, the wireframes are arranged in geometric sets and the part bodies contain only volume operators, which is not true in hybrid design. Are my memories correct?
In addition, could you give me more details on these two concepts? I'm interested to know more precisely what CATIA means by "normal body" and "hybrid body"
Thank you in advance for your help.

HelloYou can find all the explanations under the CATIA help (F1)
Edit:
Yes your memories are correct
The Hybrid mode allows you to mix the surface and the volume.
For the possibilities of association in the different containers (bodies or geometric sets) the easiest way is to consult the CATIA help
Because the number of possibilities is important, it all depends on what we want in terms of organization (readability) of the Graph (hystoric construction).

Indeed, Hybrid = Volume + Surface as in SolidWorks
Thank you Franck for your feedback.
Indeed, it is good to go back to the basics, the reading of the help.
I managed to get hold of a French version that I am reading carefully. But, in talking to other colleagues, I think I'll stick with the normal mode.
Please I can't access catia help. Can I have a solution to access it?
Hello, the CATIA V5 doc must be installed either locally or on a server.
To do this, it can be downloaded from the Dassault website.
The doc version must be compatible with the CATIA V5 version being used.
For an Install on a server or at a specific location you must indicate under the options the path of the Doc Tools / Options / General / Help.
After F1 on a function opens the associated doc F1 only opens the doc.
