Hello, is it possible to disable two-factor authentication to connect to this forum please?
Hello the STAF of the forum,
I agree wholeheartedly with that.
AR.
Hello,
On my usual pc and for the forum only I never identify myself.
For the VISIATIV site on the other hand you have to connect but still no double identification
Hello, I'm back with my question, is it possible or impossible please?
Hello @Scofield1;
I have the impression that not everyone is " logged " (computer joke) in the same way for the connection on the forum (it's for the Visiativ site and I'm not even talking about their " sparePart " platform that I'm testing)...
Personally, I have to double-identify myself each time I connect and repeat the maneuver if I have the bad idea to close my browser (Firefox PC).
Which makes me wonder:
What is the relationship between double identification (email with numerical code) and combo (Device + browser + OS?)…
for me desktop PC +Windwos 10 [and yes again] + Firefox
And " yes " it's painful to have to show your credentials every time...
Hello everyone, I'm going to conduct my investigation on my own and I'll get back to you soon.
Following a little investigation on my side, I have an answer that may not necessarily make you happy, but it touches on an important subject: user safety.
It is therefore not possible to disable two-factor authentication, as it limits the risk of hacking and the creation of fraudulent accounts.
To give you a little more context, each two-factor authentication token remains valid for 90 days, as long as the session remains active on the same browser. On the other hand, if the same account is opened on another browser or device, a new two-factor authentication request is automatically generated.
Also note that private browsing or certain extensions that block cookies may result in a two-factor authentication request more frequently than expected.
I hope that these elements can help you see more clearly ![]()
Thanks for the little inquiry ![]()
Unfortunately, this explains a lot of things in my case...

For my part, I log in with the same PC and always with Chrome.
Thank you Roman for the feedback
