Question about the offset of converting features

@ AC Cobra

The title of the topic is to convert entities

No projection

@ GT 22

Finally, a projected curve and the simplest of things. Even simpler than the surface extrusion solution.

An additional thank you because I discovered by looking at the file you gave me how to simply color a sketch. With the SW system (which I find a bit poop in this case) when you color the lines within the sketch itself it doesn't appear anymore when you are out of the sketch. :-(

You play on the words gt22; When we convert the entities, we project the sketch on another plane...

yes I absolutely agree with you @ ac cobra

But I'm talking about solidworks tools

Convert projected features & curves

These are tools that are very different and different

and via these tools the perpendicular projection is reversed

With the tool:

_ convert the entity the perpendicular axis ref comes from the child sketch

(for me in my logic it was the opposite)................. ;-(

_ projected curves the perpendicular axis ref comes from the parent sketch

Oh yes dsl, I didn't have the connection between the Solidworks tools. ^_^

Personally, it doesn't shock me as a way it works.

When I choose to make a sketch on a plan, it is the sketches as I see them through that shot that interest me.

Your synthesis of the 2 tools is perfect and very clear.
