Radiation from underfloor heating in a slab

Hello, I would like to know if it was possible to calculate the radiation of a heated floor in a concrete slab with a thermal analysis in the simulation module.

Thank you in advance.

Hello
The SW SIMULATION module (PREMIUM) will not allow you to do this.
I don't know what solution to advise you, however it will not be free (and far from it)

Hello

This is not possible because the tool is not suitable for inhomogeneous materials such as concrete.

In addition, you have to think about the surface area of the room and with a lot of other parameters such as the differences between a hydraulic floor and electric underfloor heating.

For the hot water heating floor, you must refer to NF DTU 65.14. and the DTU 65.7 details the conditions for underfloor heating by electric cables embedded in concrete

It is also necessary to refer to
1°) the Technical Specifications (CCT) with standard clauses of installation specifications.
2°) the General Criteria for the Choice of Materials (CGM) which sets the criteria for selecting the materials used for the implementation.
3°) the Standard Special Administrative Clauses (CCS) Specifications.

In short, it is better to contact a specialized company that masters all this.

Kind regards

Thank you for your feedback, for your information it is a hydraulic underfloor heating.

Thank you for your feedback, there must be a solution, SolidWorks does many things more complicated than that, maybe with flow simulation?

Hello

But you still need to know what you are looking for and what you want to achieve.

You have to look at the architectural software that has been designed for this.
See for example Autodesk's REVIT which costs 22 armored vehicles per month.

Solidworks is just a mecha software.
