I received a job offer as a draughtsman/designer, for which drawings and nomenclatures are part of the position. What bothers me is that these are aspects that I haven't practiced much and a long time ago. I am therefore trying to (re)see and (re)learn the few essential notions on these subjects. I come to you in the hope that you can direct me to this or that tutorial that you think meets this expectation.
Well, there are always the help and tutorials integrated into Solidworks to get back into the swing of things... but on the other hand the Nomenclatures and Drawings remain terribly specific to each company/position... We talk about it (a little) here: https://www.goengineer.com/blog?searchText=bom&submit=blog there too...
Yes, it's really specific to the company and also to the type of plan to be carried out. (mechanical parts or + boilermaking or construction) But in general, the drawing, if you have notions of how the part is made, is not the most complicated thing to do. Just ask myself what do I need to make this piece and how? Even if you have to be conscientious (and not contentious ). For BOMs, SW is able to do this in general according to the needs of each person.
