ah!!! we get there!! I think you can click on "Activate" then you fill in the form and then it asks you for a code. This code you will take it in "Support" on this site then in "contract" from there you have a table with the software and boxes marked "codes" you click on it then you copy the code in the activation window of draftsight.
It should work.
And I don't have time to see the error message, it closes immediately after typing and clicking on activate ...

yes I went to download it, it's exactly the same file to go to SP2, it doesn't work...!!
At home I got around the problem like this:
- Start menu: Type "REGEDIT"
- Go to the "SWActivation" folder
- Rename this folder to "SWActivation-old"
- Relaunch Draftsight

I also struggled, I found a solution that worked for me.
You must uninstall Draftsight, then manually delete the residual directory c:\programs\Dassault Systemes.
Then I reinstalled Draftsight 2017 SP2.
I reactivate and the email arrives instantly.
