Search for telescopic tube

Hello everyone,

I am desperately looking for a stainless steel or steel telescopic tube, with a stroke of 3000mm, diameter Ø33.7 or Ø21.3, in order to pass water, max pressure 3/4bar.

Anyone would know of such equipment?

Have a nice day!

Hello

Why not draw it yourself. Do you have a picture or something to show us what you'd like???

Hello

Do you need a 3D or the actual tube?

For 3D, see here models to download that can be adapted with SolidWorks :

https://grabcad.com/library/tag/telescopic?page=1&time=all_time&sort=recent&query=telescopic

For a tube to buy, I couldn't find anything either, it may not exist!

A very simple 304L stainless steel tube with a standard male threaded end at the ends.
One of the tubes is fixed, the other is a coxial sliding.
Minimum tube size (from the smallest to the bottom) Ø33.7 outside (ISO4200).
Max pressure 3 bar. (working pressure 2bar).
Stroke 3000mm.

Vertical mounting, "free" set design.

Just create your 2 studies and make an assembly with coaxial constraints and a slide (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cSMVcWdl1Y) then once this assembly is done import it into the assembly where you wanted it to be and make it flexible (http://help.solidworks.com/2012/french/SolidWorks/sldworks/Flexible_Sub-assemblies.htm)

there your subassembly will move in the assembly

Thank you mias in fact I am mainly looking for the technical solution of sealing the tubes together.

As a design it looks like a cylinder: so the outside of the "small" tube with a maximum Ra0.8, an O-ring on the pressure side, a scraper on the outside.

You will probably have to make a box attached to the end of the "big" tube (otherwise you will have to find a very thick tube).

The big problem will be the straightness of the "small" tube on such a race. It might be interesting (if you have the space) to make it staggered (3 pieces with 1m of travel each).

In ready-made commerce, I have never seen or heard of it.

I think @ac-cobra is right.

You won't find your telescopic tube directly in the store.

But you can draw it yourself or have it drawn.

Take a hose with a hose reel!

Thank you for your answers.

I agree with the Ra 0.8, for the sealing I was thinking of a ready-made mechanical seal cartridge for cylinders.

Then for the tube why not a "mechanical tube" they are quite precise I think

What do you think?

Interesting, it remains to be seen if the cartridge accepts the tolerances of these tubes (+/-0.08 at Ø and 1.5/1000 straightness)

Hello

Look at a piping supplier like Jacob dosatec: http://www.jacob-dosatec.fr/images/telechargements/ringsealenglisch.pdf

Or at a hose supplier such as Norres with a wide choice of hoses including compressible and food. (minimum quantity, usually 10m)

Both are excellent suppliers, very serious.
