Interesting project, you're in luck.

To get back to our sheep, I know I'm stubborn...

The MAWP value is well calculated at one time or another, given the link between your tools and the already large number of variables, I would be tempted to say that you are no longer close to one.

So if I understand correctly, the person who makes the plan does not have to access the assembly, he just has to configure data that has no link with the direct assembly (e.g. name of the fluid)

Hence the big question I was asking: 

The MAWP value (barg) is populated by whom?

If this value is populated at the design level, is it populated by the Excel interface? (in this case, creating a variable)

Or if this value is populated in the drawing, is it filled in manually? (in this case, creating a custom property)

Well, it is filled in at the drawing level by the designer (see attachment)
