Retrieve PDM Data

Hello

Do you think it's possible to retrieve the number of drawings archived per day on the pdm? either through a SQL query or through a search map?

Hello

This should be possible by searching on the file extension (.slddrw) and on versions created only on today's date ("Version data" tab in the search tool).

Kind regards

Hello

D.Roger probably gave the simplest answer.

On the other hand, it will mix archiving and creations, and since a file can be archived a lot of times, it's not necessarily very relevant as an indicator. You will just know that X drawings have been archived today.

Not very practical either if you have to do this every day since a priori you have to fill in the 2 dates each time.

Yes indeed, but we are in the project to know how many modifications and creations we make per day,

Since we have custom search cards in our company, I couldn't manage to  select only a version data file state in the Search tool, I can't find it

Hello @Haderack

If you have the MyPDMTools tools, maybe look with "PDMReport"
or, with "DataRecovery" by filtering on the variables corresponding to the date of modification or creation.

Edit:
After thinking about it, if you have to do only with the basic EPDM tools.
You can create a dedicated search card with "columns" containing the variables you will need to sort (state, modification date, date of riching....), once it's ready you launch a search on all (or part) of the chest and you export the result in "Excel", From there you can analyze the data much more easily.

Hello, so I don't have the MyPDMTools tool, but I'll try to contact Visiativ for that and try to make a search map.

Thank you all, I'll close the subject
