Retrieve a Solidworks Cartridge for Drawing on Topsolid V7

Hello

I have a question about the Topsolid V7 cartridges, I would like to get the cartridges I created some time ago on Solidworks for my company.

How to do it? Has anyone ever had the same problem?

Thank you in advance.

Hello, I don't know if you will be able to because there is very little chance that it will be compatible!!

Solid cartridges are . SLDDRT.

To my knowledge it will not be possible, I hope I am wrong.

Kind regards

See this link Create a TopSolid 7 personal cartridge

then you just have to create the links like on SW

Hello

The problem is that I have to remake all my cartridges, right?

That would be a shame.

Hello!

I don't know TopSolid, but on our side we got our AutoCAD cartridges to put them in SolidWorks ;)!

We used the DWG import in the sketch of the basemap, then we set up the texts on the title block (the font followed) by coupling them to our custom properties.

So you probably have the possibility to go through an export-import in dwg...

Hello

Same thing I don't know topsolid... But if you edit the basemap and you copy and paste it into a basemap in topsolid it doesn't work??? After that, I don't know how it goes with the links if there are any!!

Hello

It's okay, I've been looking hard and I think it can be useful to others!

- In solidworks you have to save a drawing without parts in it in DXF.

- Import this DXF under TopsolidV7.

- Copy the title block.

- In the V7 layout go to Sketch ==> cartridge, and paste your cartridge wherever you want.

It's perfect so I don't have to do everything again.

Thank you to those who tried to help me.

Have a nice day.
