Retrieve a Property of the PART FILE from the Welded Parts List

Hello,
If possible, I would like to retrieve the DESCRIPTION property of my part file (which corresponds to the reference of my furniture and therefore of the drawing) in the properties of the list of welded parts:

The goal is to name the parts that make up my furniture as such:
DESCRIPTION (part file)_DESCRIPTION (welded part).

For the moment I'm cheating by doing like this:
I created an additional column in my table and where I get the DESCRIPTION property (file part).

Visually it corresponds more or less to what I want. The problem is at the time of the excel export where it creates 2 distinct cells, quite logically.

Then I would have the solution to directly name the folders of my welded parts with the DESCRIPTION (part part) in the name. But this implies that if I duplicate the cabinet under another reference, I will have to rename all the welded parts.

Thank you for your feedback.

Hello,
Wouldn't it be simpler to create an assembly instead of the " Part " file (B142)?

Hello

You can do this:
In the document options, enable the Rename Welded Parts List Folders with the value of the description property

Then right-click on the Welded Construction function in the construction tree to create the Description property for all elements with the value §PRP:" Description ":

All you have to do is complete the description of your elements with their reference:

The folder will automatically take this name.

At the top, frankly thank you very much. I didn't know that at all, so I was able to set up my entire list of welded parts.
Before, I had to recreate my property lines every time.
It's perfect

It is easier to design furniture in multiple bodies.
