Reduce frame weight when converting clip to DWG

Hello

I work on solidworks 2016 and I regularly convert my drawings to DWG to send them to my subcontractors.

The weight of the Solidworks drawing file is very correct (between 80 and 100 KB) on the other hand when I do the conversion to DWG the plan is at 17 MB.

I have to open the DWG file on draftsight to remove the company logo image and find a correct file size.

Has anyone ever had any kind of problem?

Do I need to change the format of my logo image?

Gaëtan

Hello

I don't know if it's possible via Solidworks, but there are compressed folders.

if it results in a better size according to your tastes

and that you conclude that it's the image of your logo that takes a lot of you

so yes try to change the iamge of your logo

gives the values with or without the DWG logo

Hello

Have you tried to record it in DXF?

Be careful with logos that can be a bit heavy if they are in .bmp format it seems to me.
