Is there a tool in MyCADTool that allows you to easily rename an entire project?
I tried with CloneComponents, ProjectManager but in both cases you have to move the project.
I also tried ProjectExplorer but it's not very practical because you don't have access to the creation tree and on top of that it bugs.

Among the MyCadTools Suite, the two tools that can be used are ProjectManager and/or ProjectExplorer. (Personally I use the combination of the Two)
I don't quite understand why you want to have access to your Building Tree? Aren't you renaming your Complete Assembly?
The use of CloneComponent does not seem to me to be at all appropriate for this type of exercise. !
In your case, I still advise you to use ProjectManager, taking the time to look at the possible settings, even if it means possibly moving your Project twice.
Otherwise you can try Pack-and-Go's but you have to be careful... and patient.
The subsidiary questions to ask yourself would probably be: Which version of MyCad and Solidworks do you have? Do you work on a server? PDM? Are you using a component library? ...

I just did some of the renaming with ProjectManager and it's really inconvenient. When I was on CATIA we had an Airbus macro that allowed us to do this very easily, it was called "Renaming"
I'm surprised that under SolidWorks or MyCADTool there isn't that.
I'm on SolidWorks 2021 with the latest version of MyCADTools, I don't have a PDM, I work on a server, I use some components from a library.

At the risk of repeating myself, and knowing this Macro (ex-Catiaiste but a long time ago) I confirm that ProjectManager largely covers your requests, you just have to take time to configure it according to your needs, if necessary, and I encourage you to do so, consult the help of Mycadtools tools.
(It's true that Catia, Microsofoft and the office suite have accustomed us to deplorable / pitiful "Aides"... but those of MyCad and Solidworks in particular are still well done... It would be a shame to deprive ourselves of it.)
To return to your Renaming problem, ProjectManager allows you to blacklist (to exclude, for example, your library items)
But also to create one or more Renaming rules (Be careful, keep in mind that they run from top to bottom...), while keeping the associations of the Drawings with the renamed parts or Assemblies.
