Hello
I use the routing module to create piping
The routing is automatically saved as: Pipe1-1477-...
It's too complicated to find a part in the tree
I would like to put a number in front of it: 01FF10-Pipe1-1477-...
If anyone has an idea?
Thank you
Hello and welcome;
Without having the information on the version of Solidworks used, I answer as if you had a Local Version...
It is the user who has control over the naming of these elements (rooting or not):
via the options

Via Manager:
Or simply by registering your components like any other part in a directory (e.g. " bibliothèque_Routing "...)
Hello and thank you for your help
I looked at the tutorials, but I couldn't find it.
I have Solidworks 2023, I have control over the naming of the elements and I have a local version.
I use routing without having really had any training.
For now, I go to component property and then component reference and type in 01FF01.
I get: Pipe-1-1497-------{01FF01}. This allows me to locate my parts in the overall plan
I'd like to have 01FF01-Pipe1-1497------- To make it more readable
