Repeat equidistant holes automatically on a plate

I have a plate and I would like to drill a series of holes and automatically have them equidistant according to the length of my plate. In addition, I usually position the two holes at the ends as close as possible to the corners of the plate.

Is there a function?

Hello

Curve-driven repetitions

Look here

I would do a simple linear repetition with an equation on the distance you don't have left to manage the number of holes

Hello

If you have at least SOLIDWORKS 2015 you just need to make a linear pattern and indicate up to the reference, see Help:

@MAD,

That's exactly the job of the repetition driven by a curve:)

1=> you draw a sketch.

2=> you make a hole

3=> you do your rehearsal by showing him the hole, sketch it, all you have to do is tell him how many holes you want and SW takes care of the rest.

may the force be with you.

Hello

as Coyote says , a simple linear repetition with "up to the reference" will be more than enough, all you have to do is score your first hole in relation to one end.

Thank you for choosing me, but coyote was quicker, you should have given it the best answer.
