Repeat Sketch on Spline Curve

Hi all

I want to make a repetition of a sketch (a square) following a spilne curve and I need your help (photo attached)

thank you in advance

Hello

If you want to extrude directly, position your spline on a corner and not in the center (it's not like on other Inventor software for example)

Moreover, if your spline is on the same plane, that's enough.

If you want to have several squares you need to make as many spaced planes as you want. And for each square on each plane make a coincidence between the corner of the square and the spline.

If it's a three-D spline then you need to put several guide splines in addition if you want to avoid surprises.

You can create your room via a swipe

To do this, you need to create a perpendicular plane

to the right of the start of your spline

and make your square section on this plane

Be careful to watch out for the handlebars (bending radius) so that it is not less than 3 thicknesses of your section

10 square 30 radius

Instead, prefer a function repetition using "curve-driven repetition".

Something like that?

Sorry @PhilippeB, my answer came too late.

Indeed a repetition driven by a curve
