I would like to do repeated extrusions with a circular repeat and numbered each of the extrusions using the sketch text function.
I use the sketch text function with an extrusion to a depth of 0.02 mm because I retrieve the dxf of the part as a marking graphic for our laser marking machine.
I would like to have an automatic number increment because the number of occurrences is important.
There was no follow-up to this problem and so today I would have the same request to make. As the original message and zozo_mp's response are 4 years old, so has anyone had the same problem since then and possibly a solution to propose. The strong maouss of the macro did not jostle at the gate as they say The basic functions of SW do not allow this.
Since there had been no answer/solicitation from the author of the question, there was no analysis of the " strong macro maouss" As long as the function is accessible via macro I think it's not very complicated. You just have to say how you want it to work to see what is feasible to do.
Here I have this engraving operation which will be done by milling to reproduce in the vertical direction 24 times and increment the 400 with a step of 50. Regarding the increment, since the 400 is text, I don't see how to do it.
I don't manipulate macros at all, due to lack of time unfortunately. Ideally, for this to be useful to a maximum of people, you would need an input mask with the starting value to be incremented, the value of the increment, the number, the value, the direction of the offset. I think it's a bit complicated for this use alone. This is why zozo_mp appealed to the " maouss... »
