Nested responses to the parent response

Hello.
Now that the forum allows you to respond directly to an answer already given, would it be possible to prioritize them by displaying these "sub-answers" attached to the direct continuation of the parent response (such as folder subfolders)?
And rather than imposing this form of display on everyone, a choice to be made in preferences would be perfect.
Thank you

Yes it may be clearer (even if this option may not be available in the CMS behind this forum: Discourse)

I think that the option of the display type exists in the admin panel, on the other hand not sure that the possibility to let the user choose from his preferences is present.

Hello @Sylk ,

Below an answer that has sub-answers, you have the option to view its " sub-answers ". In the screenshot below, for example, by folding out " 3 answers ", you will find the related answers.

Does it meet your needs?

Have a good day to you

@lucile.j , it's better but if I answer one of the answers it doesn't appear in the answers to the 1st question but only in the thread where I answered.
In addition, to answer you have to click on the arrow that leads to the subject below. It's a bit weird for my taste.
I think @Sylk saw more of a scrolling topic with all the answers and sub-sub-answers related to it rather than an order of appearance from the oldest to the most recent. And as said possibly related to the user's settings.

Hello @lucile.j
Thank you. That does indeed answer part of the question. The part of seeing them attached, even if I would have preferred them to be already scrolled by default.
The other part that @sbadenis raises is that seeing them also displayed in chronological order in the main thread (in duplicate in a way) is very weird, sometimes it seems to have no coherence with the thread taken out of the context of the targeted answer, in addition to weighing down the main thread of the blow.
In summary, I think that ideally you need the sub-replies deployed by default, and that they don't appear after the thread. It would be clearer to everyone, in my humble opinion.
