well, I still have some margin lol

:D After all, everyone has their own evolution, don't worry, it's already a very good start!

@ Syltab  you are in good hands with @ Bart

but without wanting to fuck up the souk

Why not do it via a profile library

and the mechanic welds the way it is designed

to obtain a bill of materials that holds up

This means that we create a profile, we create our library and these personalized references

Good evening GT 22

Thanks for the video,

The problem is that I can't find the properties of the list of welded parts in the created multi body and in addition I don't find the same options as bart when you register the bodies, this multi body is only made of 3 mm sheet, I can't do that with the welded construction module, I am not an expert.

Yes Gt22, from what I understand, the parts are not mechanical welding (tube or profile etc.), it's bent sheet metal, which must therefore be unfoldable etc...

You saw Bart I redid the multi corps in sheet metal module but still not the same options to check as you, I may have done it wrong

When I do an export, you're right, the box is not there... I'm going to work on that.

On the other hand, when I convert one of the parts obtained into sheet metal, I get this

What is your version of Solidworks?

I also work in sheet metal bending.

I always have problems when I do multi-body sheet metal.

When I have to make them, I arrange to make my pieces one by one,

then I assemble them with "create a new assembly",

and then either I create the removal of material piece by piece by editing them in the assembly,

or I run the extrusion directly in the assembly by "propagating the function to the parts"

I hope I was clear... given the time^^

hello GT22

thank you for the links, but that's not what I'm looking for

I am looking to retrieve the properties of the welded parts list when I save the bodies to find them when I open the part that was saved.

I end up with a "so-called stock" volume body, with the custom properties of the multi-body, and not with the properties of the part

Do you have a solution?

Thank you
