Below is a screenshot of what I have to do to have the view cropped, at the top left, since I can't do it from the cut of the interrupted view below. If you have another solution, it will be welcome.
Finally I found a solution which consists of putting a cut line that doesn't go all the way to the end (here BB cut) and then removing the break lines in this cross-section view (which strangely move a little anywhere). It may not be the best solution but it works:
Your approach is logical because with a cut line that goes all the way it conflicts with the interrupted view which has its own logic in the management of dimensions and other lines.
This box has existed for a long time. It seems to me that now it is checked by default.
In your case, the solution of making a partial cross-sectional view seems to me to be the best. This effectively forces you to remove the interruptions in view inherited from the master view.
This reinforces Zozo_mp's remark: the management of interruptions conflicts with the definition of partial cutting. So, to show your different grooves, you have to make 1 cut per segment between 2 interruptions.
