It seems to me that normally when you click on a component of a subassembly in the graphics window there is normally a small menu that offers you to select the component or subassembly, but now I don't have it anymore, is it a setting or has it been deleted?

It still exists (I'm in V 2019)
Just right-click on a part of a set or sub-set.
On the other hand, if it wasn't a standard setting, I don't know where we could activate it

Thanks, in fact I found on the 2020 version it was moved to the top left of the screen, strange, not practical it was simpler when it appeared near the click

or you can use the breadcrumb function by clicking on the part and then the "D" key on the keyboard and there you will see the chronology of your part => asm=> under asm=> part => function.
