Simulation, beam calculation

Hello

My entire structure is modeled in beams. The results of my first calculation do not meet the standard imposed by the client. I am forced to change the size/type on one of my beams so that the calculation respects the imposed standard. I make the changes to my structure and when I go back to my (static) study, ALL the imposed displacements/External loads are no longer in the right place that I defined at the beginning of my study!

Is this normal? How can I avoid this type of problem?

Each time I modify a section, I am forced to retype all my imposed movements, External loads etc...?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Hello

This is not normal but there is surely a very simple explanation. To do this, you would have to look in detail at your structure and in particular the size of the steel modules and the machining that is used to them (IPN, UPB, etc...)   I suppose.

Can you post your complete assembly for us to look at. (use the method we suggested in the other post)

I ask the question of profiles, because most of the time below a certain size and other details: these should not be treated as beams but as volumes.

Without having the model and also the content of the Simulation Study tab carried out, it is absolutely impossible to say anything.

Kind regards

PS: If no ZIP file of the complete assembly = no help as far as I'm concerned.

You have already asked us for simulation: but you have not given us the last good files so the subject has remained unresolved. Do you think this will encourage us to spend a lot of time helping you???
