Simulating the flow of two moving components on SolidWorks

Hi all

Do you know if on Solidworks it is possible to simulate the flow of two moving components? I don't have a problem with one fixed component but two in motion...

If not, what software could run such a simulation?

Thank you very much.

Hello

If you talk about FlowSimulation, it is indeed not possible to do fluidic studies with moving elements (only simulate rotating elements possibly).

Is that what we are talking about?

Hello

I remembered a video on the SolidWorks blog where it was about 2 race cars:

You can activate the subtitles and even translate them with the 3rd icon at the bottom right.

So it must be possible!

Hi @ sebastien

can you say a little + about your need

a flow simulation on 2 components

In a 2 component exchanger we simulate the flow of the 2 strokes, speed, pressure they are separated via walls

Hello

Indeed, Coyote, that's what I want to talk about. But as I read, it must not be possible or we will have to get around the problem.

Gt22, concretely the goal is to put a crankshaft and a connecting rod in motion and to simulate the flow passing through oil (in the case of FlowSimulation of water) in the crankshaft. Am I pretty explicit?

Thank you in any case for your answers. I'm going to look at the tutorials offered and see if I can transpose it to my problem.

Have a nice day.
