Plastic injection simulation

Hello everyone,

Will anyone know how to do and tell me how to do a plastic injection simulation?

Hello;

Have you tried by reading your own thread?
(Whose recommendations were not followed obviously...)
https://forum.mycad.visiativ.com/t/injection-plastique/113807

Otherwise some tutorials:

[worried] Aren't these subjects covered in BTS (or even before?)

Also think of the tutorials integrated directly into Solidworks, it is rare that this kind of documentation is so well done so you might as well take advantage of it:

Good evening @Lenny_Kr ,

" One guy " (?) provided you with a possible structure for the mold, another a video showing the kinematics of its components (drawers, plate...).
Then appeared a slightly modified and colorized version visible above.
You are still missing the injection simulation.

To make a simulation of this type, several things are needed:

  • Have a Premium version of SW, which includes the Solidworks Plastics add-in that addresses this type of process. Your establishment is most likely equipped with them ;
  • Reread and assimilate the course that was offered to you during your training;
  • At the same time, consult the Solidworks tutorials and some YouTube videos proposed by the members of this forum, or others;
  • Roll up your sleeves and sit in front of the PC to create your own simulation.

Help may be available on the basis of a draft simulation that you will propose to us...

A first question to start the discussion: what is the role of the 3 visible grooves on the top of the cylinder of the yellow part of the mold?
