Hello
I'm facing a problem on SmartBom.
Indeed, in order to save time, I use a file with X configurations for my screws. For example, I have a Vis CHC M6 file with X configuration according to the length. In my company, each standard element has a unique code. So, for example, for each M6 screw, there is a code that is displayed in the nomenclature ( M6x5 = 41412 M6x10 = 45124 [...] )
Toillustrate my problem :
I have 5 M6x16 screws and 4 M6x20 screws (The same file with two different configurations so)
When I generate my bill of materials WITHOUT CHECKING "differentiate components with different configurations": I do have a quantity line 9 to the CHC M6x16 Screws line (it displays the first config in the assembly order, it's normal )
When I generate my bill of materials by TICKING "differentiate components with different configurations": I have a quantity 1 line in the CHC M6x16 Screws line and a quantity 1 line in the M6x20 line
The problem is that if you check "differentiate components with different configurations", it no longer calculates the quantities.
Either I have a setting that is not good, or it's a SmartBom bug, in which case I'll open a support ticket.
Waiting for a kind return,
Thank you
Vincent
