Solidwork dissociation

Hello, I have to on SW 2016 drew a metal staircase on a house.
As I have to make the staircase, once the drawing is done, I would like to keep only the staircase.
I'm going to start by drawing the house and then the staircase.
Moving on to assembly it seems complicated to me, because I need to see the house for points to take on it. I don't like creating a part in the assembly too much because the SW commands are not the same. Do you have another idea?

On the other hand, I have grating steps. If I really desine it, the plan gets very heavy as soon as I make all the holes. Do you have another idea?

It happens to me in part design mode to have to erase bosses or sheet metal.
Sometimes by deleting 1 of them, it erases others. Is there a way to cut the links and be able to delete only the requested boss?

Thank you for your help

The ideal for me is to draw in the assembly, this dissociates the staircase from the environment, does not prevent you from hanging on if necessary (link) or measuring the gap to approach via the drawing in the room (without any link to the AS)
And then assembly again for the staircase for me or the whole staircase in a room (less clean in my opinion)
For grating, is it useful to draw the holes square? If yes no choice if not volume of the step (with one or 2-3 square holes if needed for mesh representation)
Finally, for the fact of deleting a function that deletes others, you can see the parent-child relations of a function:
https://help.solidworks.com/2016/french/SolidWorks/sldworks/c_Parent_and_Child_Relations.htm?verRedirect=1
And if not possible to break the link instead of deleting the function, possibility to delete the body if not merged. (but not super clean)

And if not, you start again before the parent function.
" To do and to undo is to work " as the saying goes.

Thank you very much.
I'll try to design in the assembly.
Another question.
I'm going to draw the stringers in a U-shape and then place the posts that will be screwed into the stringers.
In your opinion, is it possible that when I place the post, the piercing in the stringer is done. I don't think it's done in the same operation.

In general for the piercings I prefer to do them independently in the 2 rooms.
There is the possibility via the toolbox to insert the screw and have the hole made by itself (premium memory license) or to do the drilling function in the assembly and propagate it to the parts) But I don't find it clean and from experience it often crashes this kind of functions.

Hello

When the deletion confirmation window appears, click on the " Advanced " button:

Then check only the children to be deleted before validating:

Thank you all. The information will help me a lot.

Other question

I have SW installed on 2 computers (and I'm transferring the license)
I have an HP plotter
On a computer everything works fine. The two computers are in the same office. Printing is done via wi fi via the same box
On the other one, when I want to print, I only get to the printer dialog, but no further. I have to go through e drawing to print.
Of course, I uninstalled and reinstalled the tracker, but nothing helps.
I don't really know where to look.
Do you have a lead?

Hello, @ste_pau
As a reminder, a forum is not a chat and requires organization.
This last question has no relation to the initial topic, so it would be better to open a new topic. Yes, to dissociate them
Thank you.
