Solidworks 2013

Hello, here is my problem: when I create a part with a folded base in Solidworks and then I create a drawing and in the drawing I insert it in unfolded state and I want to put dimensions it does not show me the right dimensions for example it puts me 48.23 instead of 48, Thank you in advance!

Hello

Can you put your part and its drawing in a ZIP file so that we can test?

Hello

I have the impression that this is normal ;-)  because in the unfolded state it is the software that places the mark of the folds.

However, logically it must do so in relation to the neutral fibre, which is roughly in the middle of the thickness of the sheet metal (for thin thicknesses) and for which it is also necessary to take into account the shrinkage at the bends (what about the K coefficient)

Once folded, the dimension should be either inside the fold or outside depending on the choice you have selected if it is a sketched fold for example. In your case, the dimension must be outside the two folds.

Kind regards
