Hi all
I'm working on solidworks 2015, when I draw a thread in detail, I spend my time waiting for the sketch to go through all the spirals (Helix and spiral) one after the other
the screen says 'Wait for the program to respond' is it coming from my graphics card, or I put it wrong, on autocad we make a block, but on solidworks?
Thank you in advance and I wish everyone a happy holiday season

Hello
I thought it was a question about composing at first and I didn't read the subject.
But now I see that it's on SW the question. Yes, it seems that the PC is not very strong.
But there is probably another problem. Can you post the file in question? We will understand better.

Hello
What does it look like by emulating OpenGl Functions? (in my experience it was the graphics card driver).
Hello
Thank you for your speed.
I don't have access to OpenGI Feature
Attached is the plane of the screw, but for all the threads it's the same problem e.g.: Edit the function - Helix/spiral
Thank you

To be able to access it you have to be in the solidworks home window, not in the document part or other,

Hello
less than a second for me. But the 2015 version didn't yet have the dedicated threading/tapping function?

Hello
I think I'm going to give up, when I see your result it's surprising, without indiscretion it's what SW, before I was running on W7 in 32 bits with a SW 2014 I never had a problem.
Thanks again

Sometimes SW starts to grind when a function doesn't appeal to him. Try to make the calculation easier for him because it's a simple swipe anyway.
The swept sketch has an ill-defined position that could result in faces of zero thickness. It may not be that, but start by fixing it.
Currently the sketch has this unconstrained position
The flush position of the upper edge of the triangle at the screw face could be the cause of the problems.
Slightly raise this edge (enough to peel it off the face of the screw). Then validate.

Hello
Thank you for closing my problem which certainly comes from W10 / SW 2015
everything worked great between W7 / SW 2014
Thank you for your involvement

for a w10 you will need a SW2015-SP5 or later. On the other hand on W7 it is supported,
