- restart the machine,
- Open the master assembly of the folder to be converted.
- display the list of components used (file/search for references) and identify intruders;
- close everything;
- (temporarily) rename the intruder files;
- Open the master assembly of the folder to be converted.
- display the list of components used (file/search for references) and check that there are no more intruders;
-record;
- start the conversion;
- Restore the names of intruders.

Hello and thank you stefbeno for the procedure.
I don't understand the notion of an intruder?
Isn't this problem normal?
It's the only professional software that I know of that will get me bad references!
This is very problematic, especially when you are a pro and you have to hand in plans for manufacturing.
How can this be explained?
If you know, I would be curious to know the cause
Thank you
SW does not manage paths, it simply keeps the last path used, a path that it will use if it does not find a file with the name in memory, then in the current directory.
In your case, I call the piece that does not come from the right repertoire an intruder.
If your files are properly arranged, when you apply step 3, in the table that appears, the directory changes are quite easy to see, possibly "copy the list" and paste it into Excel. By sorting on the way, it will be even more obvious.

Hello
Could it be that your decks are the result of a copy paste and a renaming via Windows, hence an old residual link to an old MEP???
