[SOLIDWORKS 2018] Create a dxf from a share with additional information

Hi all

For my exchanges with one of my suppliers, I wanted to know if it was possible to register a "PART" directly in DXF

but by adding information such as the thickness of the sheet metal for example.

Hello, if it's just a flat sheet metal to be cut, there's nothing to prevent you from adding a text in a sketch. For the text it can either be written in mano, or linked to a property value. (but for this last solution I have the impression that it bugs, instead of displaying the value it puts the name of the rating.... to be confirmed under SW2019)

When exporting to dxf-dwg, check Geometry + Sketches
