Good evening
No, you're not alone in experiencing crashing issues with SolidWorks. There are several solutions that you can try to fix the problem.
Apart from updating the graphics drivers, you can try resetting SolidWorks, starting it in Safe Mode, or even reinstalling it. To take it a step further, enable the OpenGL option to see if it can prevent crashes.
Good luck in your attempts to resolve this issue
what year of Solidworks release
Same here,
I'm under 2019SP05, and the novelty at the moment is colors of one part that reverberate on another, depending on the orientation of the assembly... I updated the quadro drivers, nothing changes.
And I have the right 2 days ago to a SW crash with a pure and simple closure without even having had the incident report window sadly well known to users ^^ (isn't it @OBI_WAN ) the advantage... it's to have one less window to close
To get back to your problem, also empty the temporary folders. (we've talked about it enough in other posts )
Maybe end up moving to the 2023 (2022 doesn't seem to have convinced it seems to me)
On the other hand, I like a new feature of the 2024... symmetrical repetition, the happiness it would be^^, and if in addition they could allow to leave it qte 1 in function it would be great) Off-topic OFF^^
I confirm @FUZ3D I know this window very well lol.
We switched to SW2023 on Wednesday and today' abracadabra guess what happened to me.
Look down... it's written in very small letters... added for Obi_wan... yes, if I swear to you.
if you saw if I put them in the comments
I switched to 2023 sp5 and for the moment no crash, to be continued...
Off topic: the novelty that I like in 2024 is to be able to record songs in the previous versions 2022-2023 it was time...
Hello
It can be useful but I'm waiting for feedback to see how it behaves in case of features that don't exist in previous versions.
I've already had the case of changes in surface functions where when SW changed the way of selecting faces it made me skip surface features in my parts. If it's to end up with erroneous functions, it's better to stay on the dead body of the upper version that can be opened on the SP5 of the lower version.
Indeed this is the problem that comes out on the pack and go tests, there may be fixes
