Hi all
We have detected an error in the SOLIDWORKS 2021 SP5 Update that may impact users working with files created from versions 2017 and earlier.
SOLIDWORKS is currently working on a fix to address this issue.
If you encounter crash issues when editing custom properties, you will need to revert to version 2021 SP4.1 while waiting for this Hotfix to be available.
Do not hesitate to send us your questions if necessary,

Hello
thank you for the info and the little message when we arrive on Lynkoa, at least we can't miss it. :-)
Sometimes I really wonder if software publishers (not only SW) test their product before releasing their update, because I find that the programs are more and more full of bugs. And that the updates correct problems but bring new ones that we discovered at our expense.

Hello @ all
When do we retire General Bug like the well-known General Failure from the DOS era.
Kind regards

Hi all
Regarding the SOLIDWORKS update bug, Dassault SYSTEMES has removed SP5 from downloads and replaced it with SP5.1; A hotfix was released for the SP5 this weekend.
More information to come.
