Hi all

Has anyone ever had the opportunity to use SLDW Inspection?

Its principle is to create ranges or control reports directly from the drawings with taking into account general tolerance standards, realization of auto control reports from CMMs or optical 3D, ...

I think it just came out but sometimes...

Never heard of it, but a priori it's a paid supplement, so you really have to have the use of it!

And that's for well-defined areas, it won't be useful for us:

"The automotive, aerospace, defense, oil & gas, and medical device industries have strict safety regulations and requirements".

Sounds interesting; I am the question to find out more.

In fact, the interest would be to automate YIS PPAP or other reports with a management of the auto control ranges when the index rises.

Even if the new CMMs or optical 3D have their own editing software, we are sure with this one that it is at the last clue.

To meet PL there is the module integrated into sldW and a separate module.

In addition, this software handles non-native plans, which is a big plus!!

@rom's: but an integrated module doesn't mean that it is not paid?

It is not found in the SolidWorks version matrix:

And it even has a matrix for Inspection:

So maybe it's in the style of the PDM.

.PL I understood correctly for the paid one;) I was just pointing out that like ElectWorks we had 2 interfaces for the same software.

I will therefore close the question while waiting to have feedback in the near future.
