Solidworks PDM

Hello
we have slowness of extraction / archiving and others... in the PDM, but only from time to time. As if, our servers were sometimes "overbooked".
Would there be a way to show the time of extraction, archiving, etc., for each request sent to our PDM? Just to have a history of these problems?

Thanks in advance
Quentin

Hello
To my knowledge there is no log of this type. There may be a problem with your server architecture (SQL database, archive database, etc.).
It all depends on the performance of each element and the communications between the different servers (if everything is not hosted on the same one).
Same if you have your servers outsourced, slowdowns can be linked to other network activities on this line.
In my opinion, the easiest way is to see with the hotline (Visiativ if it is your reseller) so that it can "audit" your installation and guide you on the potential corrections to be made to make the use more fluid.

Thank you for your brief answer. Indeed, Visiativ has already carried out an audit and for them, they did not find any problem. So the server or the infra network was involved.
Unfortunately, the local news service does not want to hear it and considers that our network is correct and that everything works.
Our problem happens randomly it seems, and therefore difficult to prove. A log would have proved it.

Unfortunately, when it affects the infra network, we are in a no man's land at the level of IT services.
They don't necessarily know the needs of CAD users and therefore don't understand most of the time the associated problems (if only for the workstations necessary to use SW)
