SolidWorks Resource Monitor / Missing Database

Hi all

I have a problem with SolidWorks. I downloaded and installed the 2015 (/2016) license and everything went smoothly. However, when I launch the software I have the following messages appearing:
1- SOLIDWORKS Resource Monitor: There is insufficient system memory available. Close some applications to free up resources.
2- FeatureWorks: The SOLIDWORKS database is missing. Not all features will be available.

I optimized the virtual memory size, checked/unchecked FeatureWorks closed/reopened SW ... I did almost everything that was proposed in the other questions and forums related to my problem but nothing changed...
I don't know how to solve this problem. Last year I used the 2014 license everything worked very well (same computer but with W8 now it's the W10 I don't know if it has a connection..).

Thank you for your advice and help.

PS: I'm a sh**t in computer science.

Bonour,

Have you tried a repair of Solidworks,  see link

Hello

Is Solidworks on the latest version: 2016 SP3 or 2015 SP5?

Hello

Yes I just tried the SW repair but it didn't work. Always the same problem. It stops working as soon as I do New/Part (assembly or drawing).

I installed the 2015 license ( EDU 2015, which the teacher gave us, by the way we installed it at the same time with a friend of mine, he works fine).

Thank you

"SolidWorks Resource Monitor: All Controlled Resources Are Within Allowed Ranges"

And despite this, it doesn't stop crashing as soon as I try to create a room.

A silly question but if you did the installation together... Have two license numbers????

No, it's a student version. A license for a whole class.

Do you have another PC to install it or give it a try?

I had windows 8.1 on my station and I updated  to 10 and only problems. I went back to 8.1...

I went back to version 8. But while trying to reinstall it, this time I have this problem:

" Unable to create HTML file (C:\Users\Oussama\AppData\Roaming\SOLIDWORKS\Installation Manager Data\2015\lang\english\HTML\content.html)

Cause: [11]

Contact your local technical support."

I don't know what that means exactly

Try to clean your PC

via CCleaner

See this page

 http://www.01net.com/astuces/les-meilleurs-logiciels-gratuits-pour-nettoyer-votre-pc-579639.html

and do a system restore see this link for windaube 8

https://youtu.be/31Bq4oZ3-T0

It will already be a good start

then we'll try to understand

but you must have residues of solidworks installation files and folders

who screws up the bor.... l in your pc

Hello everyone and thank you for your proposals,

I already had a cleaning software that I used from time to time.
And yesterday I reset my computer to the factory state to go back to W8 (since I had W10 for more than a month and I couldn't do a "simple downgrade"..)
Doing a restoration now is useless since the computer is like the day I bought it. (except age).

Thank you for your help

.

Same as the other post, since it's the same question... PL had given you the solution by asking you if you were an administrator...

You are talking about a good answer that solved the problem

If another member has the same problem, the question is solved but the answer is null and void

especially since the solution has been given to you x times either in writing or in the links posts
