Solidworks VS Solidworks, which is the least unstable?

Oh I was sure of your answer!! :joy_cat: :joy_cat: :joy_cat:

Ah? I had put this slip of the tongue on the fact that you've been living in a galaxy far, far away for a long time...

=> Back to 2015<= alors ?

The idea is seductive but paradoxical with the Retro compatibility

We're already going to move on to the 2024 as soon as the sp5 is released. Well, fingers crossed.
We changed suppliers to SW. We are no longer at Visiativ but at Avenao.
They have to come soon to carry out an audit, I can't wait to have another opinion.

Always interesting, although in my opinion the problem(s) come first and foremost from Dassault Systèmes and they are, alas, the only ones who can really improve things.

Yes for sure but I think it's good to see how else approaches the subject. Maybe they have another way of apprehending things, we'll see.

Hello OBI_WAN,
I prefer Visiativ, avenao, NO!!.
Keep us informed, maybe they've changed, LAUGH!!.

@OBI_WAN for our by we did 2 audits with Visitiv.
The 1st with a network specialist from Visiativ who had helped us to better configure the server, we had made an x 6 to 8 during opening time...
And of course, better network = less crashes.
The other audit had provided us with areas for improvement for large assemblies.
And I still have to test the DELMIA Plant Layout Designer software (3Dexperience) in order to get an idea of this software for large implementations.
Implementation of 3D SW or catia step machine of point cloud and 2d plan (top view to implement the 3D if needed). On presentation it seems very nice (Fast and fluid! vs SW) but I ask to test.

For your audit, I wish you to find some points of improvement that are also conclusive. Given what you sometimes open and the number of crashes there is surely a problem. (see other posts)

Hello colleagues,

It's been a long time since I've been here :weary::weary::weary:. For my part and it doesn't make me any younger, it was the 2011, I found it really nice to be able to integrate the welds as a part in an assembly, it was more meaningful and we had the weight of everything and really without crash and it seems to me that it was the only version where I didn't have any bugs...

Hi O master @OBI_WAN ,
What was your interest in changing retailers?
I had brought Avenao to discuss and there was no financial interest at the time (they are all constrained by SW rates)

@froussel I can't talk too much here but just in terms of unbeatable prices.

At Avenao, do they develop their own tools like MyCadTool?
It would be a plus to come to their home if Visiativ continues on its path of bad ideas about their tools...

@sbadenis yes give info about 3dexpe. For my part, I had x appointment with all the Dassault video click and from one meeting to the next I could have everything and its opposite, which left us thinking that he didn't seem to know where to go. My personal feeling is that we are still in the early stages and that there is still a lot to do. To be honest, at such a large sum, I don't want to be used as a guinea pig, or to wipe the plaster, we're still talking about the price of a house, it's not nothing.

@Maclane that, I don't know yet. Today I don't have the MyCadTool tools and I do very well without them.

@OBI_WAN As for the price, I'm still waiting for the surprise that may cool me down greatly (to be seen).
For the printing for me it seems pretty good, I'm waiting for a demo with my models to confirm my impression.
And for the beginning, no, the Delmia plant software is based on the Catia engine and has been existing in the automotive industry (renault?) and other large groups locally, not necessarily via 3Dexperience for many years.

Waiting to see if the demo convinces me and if the price doesn't cool me down too much. (or rather my direction)

I would say that the most important table was the... 2013. Since then, I have noticed the same flaws. In +20 years in the company where I am, I have reported bugs. Only one was dealt with and SW informed me of it. SW does not know how to place dimensions on a drawing. It's always a mess and we have better time to delete them and redo them ourselves than to readjust the ones he inserted. In addition, very often, in a section view, screws that should not appear (because before the cut line) are visible and must be removed. A tech hotline explained to me that there is an inverted function in the properties of the cups. When the " exclude screws " box is checked, you don't see the screws. When it's unchecked, you don't see them! It's been at least 4 years since I was informed of it. Maybe on v2023 or v2024, it's " fixed ". But we are in v2022. We let two versions go through for safety. Overall, in 3D it's fine. But in 2D, I think that Indian coders (I worked with them for 4 months) master the code, but don't know anything about industrial design. And I find that the time to fix bugs reported by users is too long. It has always been. In my opinion, the windows that inform us that there has been a crash and ask us if we want to send the crash report are either a decoy, or are not exploited.

Me under 2023sp5, same opinion as the thing, I would switch to 2024sp5 as soon as it is there, hoping that it fixes the bugs in the equations, according to the HL it has been corrected, we'll see ... The seedlings always happen when you haven't recorded

Yes, that's at least well programmed; it's the one thing that never fails!

My opinion is that they receive so many that they all have to go straight to spam and be deleted automatically after 3 months
