Welding Plug

Hello;

I would like to make a cap solder appear on my model.

Knowing that I'm in a simple assembly.

How to do it, is there a way?

Thank you

Hello

You want to represent a cap weld on a 3D part, right?

A simple removal of material, followed by an extruded boss without melting the result.

Hello

Weld seams can also be inserted into assemblies with SolidWorks.

The help is quite self-explanatory:

  •  Click Assembly Features  (Assembly tab of the Order Manager) and then click Weld Seam .
  • Click Insert > Assembly Function >  Weld Seam.
  • Click Weld   Seam (Welded Constructions toolbar).

So I'm already doing the soldering function in the assembly mode.

But there are only fillet type welds, I was looking for a "plug" type.

And in fact SolidWorks offers "Notch" and it's the same thing, I didn't know.

So it's okay I found it.

Thank you qd mm!
