Style layer property drawing

Hello

I want to change the rendering of a view to dashed lines/broken lines instead of continuous lines in a drawing. I've done this in the past by creating or editing a layer and choosing the style. Finally, I define the layer to use for the view that I want to render on. But for some reason that escapes me, I can't do it anymore.

Is there something I forgot to do or don't do right?

Thanks in advance,

Kind regards.

Hello;

Isn't it simpler to use the "Alternate Position View" in your Drawing, okay it requires the creation of a configuration of your part or assembly, but the advantage is that it will appear directly in "hidden view" mode, without having to fiddle with the slaps and the types of features...

Hello

On my side it still works (sw18), I still proceed as follows:

  • Right-click on the component in the view / or on the assembly in the tree.
  • Then the line font of the component,

Hoping it will help you,

Unless you use special conf such as speedpack, I notice (after testing) that in this case, the procedure described  no longer works,

Hi all

Thank you for your answers.

@Lynk I didn't know about this method. But in view of @Maclane's answer, and my use, it is his method that is the most appropriate.

@Maclane, thank you for your answer, I found the answer to what I was looking for.

Kind regards.
