Remove the drawing outline in presentations

Hello

I'm looking to remove the outline of the layout of the presentations.

I seem to have unchecked all the system options that handle this, but nothing has been done.

So, whatever the size of the plan I want to create, only an A4 or similar size window is in blackout, everything else is in gray.

Does anyone know how to do it? So I'm looking to have EVERYTHING IN BLACK (see Image attached )

In the Drawing Settings tab of the options, I unchecked Enable Drawing Outline but obviously that's not it.

Hello

What if when printing, you select "window" or "selection" to select your sheet without the dotted frame?

doesn't it suit you?

It seems to me that the dotted lines just represent the print area.

So when printing, it doesn't appear.

For the solid line frame, click on it and delete.

Hello

In fact, removing the solid line frame removes the view!

Just enlarge the frame in a solid line so that it is larger than the sheet and thus, it no longer appears in print!

See attached image.

and YES @ Bart you're right

The dotted frame corresponds to the size of the paper print

Everything is well explained in the video posted previously ;-))

@ Bart that's not good

I go to great lengths to answer correctly and you don't read the data offered to you on a platter with the service included ;-D.... ;-D

Thank you for these answers, but my problem is not with the printing, but with the visualization of the sheets.

To explain the situation: My colleagues work on Autocad, I on DrafSight for licensing issues, I mainly only do visualization of other people's plans - Yes, I'm a hideout ;-).

When I open Autocad plans with A0 sheets, only the A4 part is visible. the rest, which is on a grey background, was difficult to see the 2D CAD standard in place (which I couldn't change ...).

So my goal is to have an easier visualization of my presentation sheets by removing this space and having a uniform black background.

Thank you

Oh well, that's another problem!

By double-clicking on your drawing , and typing "z" then enter then "and" then enter.

It will make you zoom in on your shot.

If it's just for visualization, you could use eDrawing!

This would give you a good visual of the plans. And it's only for the few plans that you need to change that you would go through DraftSight.

And uncheck these boxes in addition to my explanation.

I don't understand in general the dimensions and sound plan on the original format real dimensions so when you import a plan in Draftsight from AutoCAD if you can view it in the AutoCAD space you should be able to view it in Draftsight

If you're in A3 under AutoCAD switch to A3 under Draftsight

you can enlarge your window but in any case go beyond the dotted lines
