On inventor 2020 how to move components?

Hello, I have created a hinge assembly male part, female part and an axis in which we know how to move one of the components on the axis. I created another set of panels in which I inserted the hinge assembly and when the constraints are applied there is no way to move the components. How can I do this? See attachments.

If a tutorial exists?

Thank you in advance for your advice

Hello

In the final assembly, you have to right-click on the hinge asm and choose "adaptive" or something like that.

Hello eldidi

You have to use the "flexible" or "adaptive" option for the subset (right click + flexible or adaptive) to be able to manipulate the subset freely.

The difference between Adaptive and Flexible is very clear. If in the final set there are several hinges, the adaptive option will move all the hinges. The separately open hinge will keep the new position, the flexible option will allow them to be handled independently and will not be transmitted upstream.

I would like to take the liberty of raising this message to propose an alternative. (valid for all versions of Inventor)
In principle, the door panel and the female hinges constitute a sub-assembly.
the chest and the male hinges another subset.
It is therefore necessary to create 2 independent subsets.
On the male and female hinges, in their ipt file, generate named iConstraints.
On the one hand, for the fixing holes and for the joint connections.
Finally make a set including the 2 sub-assemblies, plus automatic position option, so the box and the door will automatically constrain each other and the joint will be active.
