Hello
impossible to adjust a leave (in all of them it is a case: constant, variable, face).
My smoothed surface method consists of 3 sketches (1 normal and 2 in 3D).
I can't get a tangent surface to the spline (normal sketch 16)
I don't master the constraint options of departure/arrival and most of the options!^^
I created a symmetry and then stitched surface.
To finish with a thickness.
I'd like to round this side, selected in blue.
Thank you

what version are you in?
if possible post your file
@+ ;-)
First of all, since the part is symmetrical, work only on the half part and then make a body symmetry with fusion at the end. Maybe do the "stick" after the rounding (problem of tangent faces that will end on a point).

already when you have to make symmetries
Look carefully at the departure of your splines
they must be perpendicular to the plane of symmetry
which is not the case in your drawing

For the perpendicular positions, just put them along Z?
The Persist problem^^
I even passed my guide curve in 2d sketch.
It is the extrusion generated by the "thickness" or "surface offset" function that generates a distortion.
Problem solved,
when it doesn't go through the door ....! ^^
I have "filled surface" my already symmetrical surface,
"Stitched surface" then "Shell".

Yes, it's also a walkthrough
