SW 2015 Loss of Logo When I Save as PDF

Hello

I'm using SolidWorks 2015 and I'm having a problem with my drawings. When I want to save in pdf (file/save as...) the logo, which is in the background of the map in my cartridge, systematically disappears.

I tried with two logo formats.bmp and .jpeg but no change.

This is a logo inserted by the Insert/Image tool. I don't know if that was the right method.

Thank you in advance for any answer.

Hello

Is the logo inserted in the basemap?

Hello

Yes, it's in the background.

Is it possible to have a template file to try?

I just read in other topics that these are known problems of the 2015 version, it works with PDF creator, I think that while waiting for an update, I'll settle for that...

I think that your image insertion method is the right one, I tested it on my computer and everything is OK in the PDF, on the other hand you can try another insertion method:

Insert, Object, in Object Type, choose: Image Paintbrush, it will then open Paint, in Paint you choose Paste from (arrow below paste), and you will look for your image file, you can then close Paint and you will then see your image on your background, you can then resize it and place it wherever you want, maybe the PDF export will work better with this method on your computer.

Good luck

Mick

Hello

This is a known issue:

When the frame of the drawing view is shaded wireframe, if it overlaps the logo, the logo is "eaten". Whereas in wired, everything is impeccable.

Solution:

You have to move the views (as well as the outer frame of them to dotted lines), so that it does not overlap the logo, otherwise the logo disappears.
