SW 2017 beug

Hello everyone,

Indeed for a few days SW 2017 beug. For the opening of a simple one it can take between 3 to 5min if it doesn't crash, the same when I want to edit a function.

Knowing that I use a floating license. If you have any ideas or solutions don't hesitate, thank you

 Hello

Have you ever looked in the task manager to see if there is anything that uses all the resources or maybe you have another Solidworks that has remained open on your station. At worst, you can repair the software.

Hello

A few questions that come to mind:

What is the SW2017 service pack?

Are SW files local or on a network?

Do you have EPDM?

Are SW files excluded from your antivirus scan?

Kind regards

Hello ac cobra 427,

No, everything looks normal to me, I'll see for the repair if I'm not the choice.

Thank you in any case

Hello

1° avoid working with an SP 01 paaser at the last SP

in general we really work with an SP 3

2° you may have a network link problem

so do some tests by working locally

Hello

I know it's not always practical, but working on a file on the network breaks a lot of latency. Personally, it takes me 8/10 times longer to open a simple part file on the network than locally. I don't even talk about assemblages.
To solve all the problems, I make a local copy and then synchronize them with a small utility 'SuncBackFree' for example.
