SW Construction souder template

Hello

I want to create a template of a part in mechanical welding but I have no other choice than a registration in prtdot.

The problem is that the SW  form editor allows you to create a specific file for Construction weld but does not apply to a part.

How to do it?

Hello

Why not make a sample part with everything you need and put it in a sample part folder and call it then save it as and modify it according to your need.

@ac cobra, this would allow me to use the mechanic weld property function, because I already do the way you describe which implies a right-click continuity to enter the properties list part to be welded despite the automatic update, whereas if I can access these functions via the right pane property it would be nicer.

The question that arises is why we can register a template.wldprp and we can't apply it to a part if the one is in prdot at the base????

I don't think I can help you, maybe one of my colleagues can do it. The only thing I found is in the help:

http://help.solidworks.com/2011/french/SolidWorks/oh_propertytabbuilder/AllContent/SolidWorks/NonCore/PropertyTabBuilder/c_Property_Tab_Builder_Overview.html

Ditto, you can create a property file but not a construction.xxxxdot file

Not having solved the problem, I still close the question.

The problem is that I can't match a Mecano template with a PRDOT part even if in this one the function is activated.
