I currently have a cartridge that automatically populates in my Solidworks MEP using the properties that point to the part data card.
But I have a problem with the scale.
For the moment, I can display the scale of the sheet with the command: $PRP:"SW-Scale of the sheet".
But I would like to display the scale of the view that is inconsistent with the drawing. According to the solidworks help, the text in the window should be $PRP:"SW-View scale" cf: http://help.solidworks.com/2010/french/solidworks/sldworks/legacyhelp/sldworks/drawings/linking_notes_to_document_properties.htm), but it doesn't work.
It's from a note I made, you want to put this link in the title block??? But with several views, how will you manage??? I put the note only where I change the scale in relation to the plan. There in my attachment I have my MEP which is in 1:5 and my detail in 1:2 (this is a cut but I put it to show you)...
I don't think it's possible: how will SW know which view to use (it's rather rare to have shots with only one view)?
That's why there is the "sheet scale" option when you create a view. By default, the view is at the scale of the sheet, the scale indicated in the title block (although in some areas the scale is always indicated).
In fact it comes back to what I said in my 1st post. It's not manageable in the cartridge .. Hence my note that I put on the views that do not have the scale of the plan. 5:01 p.m.
First of all, thank you for all these answers. Indeed ac cobra despite your help, I did not manage to insert it in the cartridge. I will have to resign myself to using the scale of the sheet.
If you really want it, there is a way to tinker: you create the view in the model (drwdot) and you create the note with the ACCobra formula that you place on your cartridge.
On the other hand, you will have to lock the location of the view (right click/freeze the location or something like that), otherwise the note will follow the movement of the view...
The best thing to do is to set the scale of the sheet to the scale you want to get on the first view embedded in the plan and to check "use sheet scale" in the Property Manager.
The scale of the sheet can be changed infinitely and if the box is checked on all the views, everything will follow when the change is made.
