Hello everyone,
I have a problem on Solidworks 2013 SP4, sometimes when opening assemblies (about 150 files) I have this error:
"Database startup error
Cannot open the primary database because of the following database access error:
OK"
And this several times in a row! I can only click OK...
I don't use PDM (I work locally).
I'm the only one to open the files.
Anyone have an idea?
Thank you and have a good day.

Hello
Aren't files placed on a restricted folder?
To find out, right click then property on the folder => security and you have to check the rights.
Be careful to follow the hierarchy of the folders to be sure that access is possible from anywhere.

Hello
Does it happen every time when this file is opened?
Is there an apostrophe in the file or folder name? Or failing that, a special character?

Have you upgraded all your files (parts, assemblies, library, etc...)
Are your assemblies or parts made or via a version #

Hello everyone, thank you for your answers!
I solved the problem by disabling unnecessary standards in the Toolbox (5 or 6 useless for me).
Maybe one of these standards had a bug?
Have a good day everyone!

Hello, maybe just the slowness of the hard drive, which creates a reading error...
Otherwise, as said above, a problem of the right of access to the files.
Good luck!
I have an SSD + 16GB of RAM + a 12 core CPU @ 3.80Ghz + an nVidia Quadro 4000 ;)

For me it's a problem of prerequisites.
Go to the solidworks installation DVD or the download folder and reinstall the prerequisites, such as VBA6.
