Automatic revision table with SolidWorks 2018

Hi all

I've been setting up the automatic revision table since SolidWorks & PDM 2018 allows it.

I get a very good functioning of it when I make successive state changes by incrementing my revisions each time from the workflow. The revision table increments well with revisions A, B, C, etc... (set to 3 lines maximum), the modification date and the name of the approver are updated, the revision comment that I fill in at the time of my transition, is also updated very well. Awesome!

On the other hand, if I touch my revision table directly in the drawing (i.e. before changing the state to increment my revision) by adding by hand by right-clicking on the table "add a revision", or "add a revision symbol"), the * character will be well placed in an additional row of the table and in the symbol in anticipation of the next one. revision. This operation is normal so far according to the help of PDM.

But when I increment the revision actually via a transition in my workflow, this line stays in place as is and the table doesn't update (* symbol, no comment, an OK date, by approver...).

In addition, I find myself with 4 lines while I have set up 3 lines maximum...

(See screenshot of my test plan attached)

Has anyone managed to get this famous automatic revision table to work perfectly?

Thank you! ;-)
