Hello!I would like to know if you should put all the heights of the levels. That is to say levels of the plates, floor, forgotten ridge ..... ETC?
Have a nice day

Hello
I think that for more precision, we must indicate as much information as possible.
Hello
No, you have to put the main levels unevenly, otherwise it becomes a much too dense mesh!
For the Long Pan, the rows correspond to the length of the spans, i.e. the distance between the staves.
For the Pinion, we put the ends of the span, the center; sometimes the intermediate lanes if we plan to place polelets for example.
For the elevation, only the main floors are to be indicated; unlike the files (LongPan and Pignon are in relative), we are in absolute in the definition of the elevation. An example:
-200,0,3000,6000,7200
-200 corresponds to the bottom of the foundation
0 ground floor level
3000 the floor of the 1st floor
6000 the level of the Entrit
7200 The pinion ridge
This mesh is the general skeleton of the metal structure, where the columns and load-bearing beams pass.
All details are done locally by library elements and are not included in the mesh.
While waiting for other questions on the subject....
